We have spent years exploring the resort. We know all the spots and understand where to find the best possible conditions for each day.

If you have never tried snowboarding or skiing out of bounds, this is a great way to get introduced to freeriding safely! Also, if you are an experienced rider but unfamiliar with the resort, then doing a day with us gets you started! We'll show you the best locations and share useful information about nearby areas that you might want to explore during your trip!

After this day, you can see the potential that Pyhä has – and who knows, perhaps you want to go for a longer day tour in the backcountry the next day!

General skill level requirements for our tours

You don’t need to be an advanced backcountry skier or rider for our tours.

We choose our locations according to the day’s conditions and the group’s skill level. The day consists of moving to the area, skiing or snowboarding and enjoying our time in nature, obviously not forgetting snack time either.

  • You can ski at least on red slopes and easy, wooded terrain outside the slopes.

  • You have some experience in ski touring or snowshoeing.

  • You can keep moving in varying terrain for about 3 to 5 hours while carrying a backpack.

Group size

Our maximum group size with one guide is 6 people.

When working with groups, we can tailor the tour and pace to your skills and needs.
