We’re Looking for a filmmaker

Are you passionate about human-powered freeriding and filmmaking?
We’re looking for a creative filmmaker to join our team and help produce cinematic freeriding and outdoor content for a minimum period of two months during winter 2026.
You’ll be contributing to meaningful, story-driven projects in wild and beautiful natural environments.

What we’re looking for most is someone who aspires to become a great mountain film professional and, even more importantly,
a great person people can rely on in nature.
About the Role
You’ll be responsible for filming, logging, and helping shape adventure-based video projects and social media content for our partners focused on freeriding, mountains, travel, and exploration such as our Arctic Lines video series.
Our goal is to create efficient, cinematic, and story-driven content, not just action clips.
You’ll collaborate closely with professional athletes and creators throughout the production process.
Ideal requirements for the role
The minimum commitment is two months between March and May 2026, with a preference for three months.
You can ride in variable snow conditions and want to spend time in steep, natural terrain. Some scrambling and climbing interest you.
You understand basic safety and route planning in human-powered freeriding.
You are there for an adventure and exploration, not only for powder snow.
You know how to proceed in avalanche rescue situation
You can do basic first aid
You are never late when it’s time to go to mountains.
You accept that sometimes plans are made in last minute and sometimes there is just a plan of ¨lets go take a look¨.
You can create your filming setup under these circumstances.You understand that your main job is to film and not take any unnessecary risks on the mountain that can compromise the production. Your ego is not your amigo.
Fitness:
You can tour in between 1000 - 1500 vertical meters / day for 5 days in a row without having an negative effect on your decision making process.
Filming experience
Drone filming - you know how to capture basic action drone shots that leave a viewer time to review what’s happening in the scene.
We are not looking for showboating aerial shots.
Experience with video cameras (DSLR / mirrorless / action cams)
Sense of composition and storytelling on the move.
We require efficient desicion making when shooting clips.
Basic to advanced editing skills (Premiere, Final Cut, Resolve, etc.)
Motivated, reliable, and creative mindset
Film Gear
You have most of your own gear
Our basic camera gear requirement:
Drone
Camera for documenting
Action cam
Mic setup to record sound

Compensation and benefits
If you are selected and your availability meets our needs, a minimum compensation of €10,000 will be paid for your work.Final compensation and contract terms will be discussed individually after reviewing candidates and their availability.
All agreed compensation will be paid via invoicing.We work closely with you to create a workflow that suits both of us and supports a positive and rewarding experience.
All travel costs expect car mileage allowance and own food will be covered.
You will be granted a products that are required to be successful in the mountains.
You are allowed to use our filming equipment
During the film job, you will be insured through our liability insurance that follow our safety plans.
You will have two days off per week. If filming schedules or weather windows require longer working periods, any accumulated days off can be taken later as a longer continuous break.
